Objectives
Northwest Entrepreneur Network, a 600+ member association with a strong network of sponsors, supporting organizations and partners, uses the Web as a primary vehicle to deliver its mission of helping entrepreneurs succeed.
Our Strategy and Approach
InfoAdvantage provided consultation, strategies and development expertise to create the organization’s initial presence in 1996, and various upgrades and rebuilds to support its growing membership and activities.
- Using InfoAdvantage’s Web Roadmap™ methodology, we designed the site’s information architecture, navigation, content plan, and interfaces with various online tools and features.
- We created a content style guide and site management protocol to facilitate continuous content changes and an increase in content scope of 200% during the past five years.
- We designed and implemented individually branded event sites and subsequently incorporated them to the site’s structure and brand.
- To meet the organization’s changing needs, we designed, implemented and restructured various online applications and e-commerce payment system.
- We created a series of Focus Areas in the members-only area designed to bring resources and people together around the critical aspects of starting, funding, growing and managing an entrepreneurial venture.
- We designed and implemented a multi-page e-newsletter with its content repurposed as business resources in the Focus Areas.
Outcome
The Northwest Entrepreneur Network Web site is the online glue of the entrepreneur community where members access resources and information 24x7. The Web site and its tools provide opportunities for the organization to save cost while providing member services efficiently.
